Wellbeing activities rooted in nature

Lemon Balm Wellbeing designs and delivers evidence-based programmes of gardening and nature-based activity to allow measurable health and wellbeing outcomes.

What we do

We deliver some programmes from our base at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm but also design and deliver bespoke programs for other organisations at their own sites.

Our programmes of therapeutic, nature-based activities are aligned to your organisational aims or the needs of your community. These can be delivered as long-term programmes or individual/taster sessions.

From growing your own food for a healthy heart, trying mindfulness in nature to reduce stress to community building through co-creating green spaces we can also adapt gardening or bushcraft activities which are accessible to those who need physiotherapeutic exercise to heal from injuries or who have experienced other health conditions such as dementia or strokes.

Why we do it

Our team has a wealth of experience in supporting children, older people and those with physical and learning barriers with community garden projects and horticultural therapy programmes. We are passionate about supporting stakeholders or social prescribers to recruit the right participants for the right programme or tailor existing programmes to be truly accessible and bring the best possible benefits to the individual participants.

How to access this service
